That’s better!

Found my groove a bit more today, with the help of some sprinting buddies from my writing group. It’s been another day of Bowler Hat sequel, but I really must get back to Caladria as soon as possible. I’m actually missing those characters, so that’s a good start.

Today I also found out that the Historical Novel Society reviewed A Pride of Poppies. It’s a short review, but a really encouraging one – we’re one of their Editor’s Choice books, so that’s lovely! I also got an update about the charitable donations from the proceeds of the book, and the first payment of just over £300 went off to the Royal British Legion in early July. That’s an amazing total, and it’s a great feeling to have been able to contribute to that (a big thanks to those of you who contributed to it, too). Of course, proceeds continue to go to the RBL, so if you want to help out a good cause and get your hands on some great WWI stories, you can buy your copy via the buy links here!

Total written today: 1880 words.

August total so far: 2469 words.

2015 total so far: 184938 words.

Talk to you tomorrow!
